Plan to arrive up to 10 minutes before your session start time. All groups and visitors will check in at the desk in the lobby.
If you arrive late, we’ll try to admit you for the time remaining in the session. Please note that if you are a late group (15 +) and you’re more than 15 minutes late, your spots will likely be given to walk-ins.
Kaleidoscope is FREE!
For the safety of our visitors, we do not allow adults without kids or kids without adults to enter the studio.
An adult is any individual 18 or older.
A minimum of 1 adult is required for every 6 kids.
A maximum of 4 adults are allowed for every 1 child.
We encourage adults to enjoy the exhibits and create art with or alongside their kids.
Reservations available through December 2025.
Studio capacity is limited. Schools, organizations or families with 15 or more people is considered a group. Groups with 15 or more may make a reservation with a maximum of 20 adults. Reservations guarantee entry for groups with 15 or more.
Reservations are not available on Saturdays. Walk-in guests with less than 15 people are welcome to participate until we reach maximum capacity for any given session.
Sensory Friendly Sessions are available for children with sensory sensitivities who would benefit from participating during a time with low attendance. Weekday session offerings are only for schools, organizations or family groups with 15 or more. Saturday sessions are available for families to join as walk-ins. We do not accept reservations for groups or individuals for Saturday Sensory Friendly sessions.
Groups of 15 or more kids + adults must make a reservation Tuesday through Friday.
Celebrating a birthday? Kaleidoscope does not offer birthday party packages, and we do not have party rooms available. You are welcome to make a group reservation for up to a total of 25, kids + ids and adults. You may want to celebrate in a Crown Center restaurant or nearby park before or after your Kaleidoscope reservation.
